The Excellence in Automotive PR award program is the only awards program dedicated to automotive public relations. Sponsored by the Automotive Public Relations Council (APRC), the Excellence awards honor those public relations programs that have successfully addressed an automotive-related PR issue with exemplary skill, creativity and resourcefulness.

The Excellence awards recognize outstanding achievement in eight categories:

  • Advertising
  • Communications Campaign
  • Crisis Communications
  • Internal communications
  • Media Relations (consumer)
  • Media Relations (trade)
  • New product launch
  • Press Events
  • Special Events/Observances
